hackR
some gen pix of the gilt dial, meters first pieces from the early 60's seem to have both silver and gold hands...any info on what hands were used and when is appreciated...in either color, they definitely appear to be brushed or aged that way?... also - what size lug holes should be drilled?... looking also for a nice mellowed/vintaged insert/pearl... thanks...R
dluddy
I've seen both and was never really sure if it was aging making the gold hands look more silver. I expect that service replacements might have been silver. I was told Gold and that's what I prefer.
Jimster
I just sold a one owner gen last month with metres first and gilt. PM me for some pics. I'm traveling until next week.
