defected_minds
I'd suggest a timepiece with a bracelet (leather may be quite casual). My ex-fiance (now wife!) was going through the same issue - She decided Cartier anything is romantic and settled on a second hand ballon blue small which she sold off later at a small loss - in a way you could count that as "renting"! If it helps she considered the bvlgari steel watch, chanel white ceramic and dior.
Lil princess
Thanks very much guys for all the help and advice. Some great comments here. I'm still thinking of going down the rep route and maybe buy a gen movement for it... Or go for a nice vintage piece... Keep the comments coming! fe22ari
Go the gen vintage route, lots of very nice watches on eBay and there are more buyers than seller at the mo (apparently). Check the "ending soonest" option in the list. Also either make sure it is serviced or get it serviced asap. Don't go fake on your wedding day.
