Limestone
Hi guys! Have a friend that´s going to Boston next week. Where is the best place to buy a Android tablet. Looking for either: Asus Eee Transformer Acer Iconia Tab Samsung Galaxy tab 10.1" My friend is going to the Apple store to by his iPad, so as near that as possible. Bonus if anyone could also give a good review of one of them
hiker01
I'll go with the Toshiba Thrive........ - replaceable battery - full SD Card/USB/HDMI Support (KB/Mouse...thumb drive/ext. HD) - excellent BT devices support (even Dell KB/Mouse) - rest are basically the same as above! My tip....buy the 16Gig model and get a 32 Gig Class 6+ SD card for $50 or so..... Place to buy walk-in?.....Best Buy..... Cheaper at Amazon.....no sales tax and free shipping 2-3 days!
Mills
If Apple is not your thing, the Tab is very nice and thin. The Toshiba gets a good write up but it's way too chubby for me - it's almost a laptop. +1 on Bestbuy. Not sure where there is one in downtown Boston but I know there is one a couple of stops on the metro in East Cambridge.
Limestone
Hmmm, just saw the new Thoshiba announced. Maybe I should wait. But I´m quite found of the Samsung, design. But it seems like BestBuy is the place to go.. thanks
