Engraving inside the submariner case

Anyone knows the answer?

In photographs of some Rolex submariner with the Rolex inscription engraved in the Rehaut or inner circle, there is no difference in color between the metal case and engraved letters, but in others the letters are darker than the rest metal case, with brown color.

Obeys a set of lights and shadows, or are actually some letters engraved in brown color

Those I had at hand have no color difference

Could be just the lighting or the method of engraving. I don't know that any mfg. that actually colors the engraving or lithographs it on...maybe someone else does.
