VesperMatt
Hey guys, Not really familiar with Patek. I've searched WatchEden which usually has every rep imaginable (even if they can't get it) but turned up zilch. This replica was said to be made for the film Drive, starring Ryan Gosling. Its seen quite a bit throughout the film and is the watch he uses to time his jobs. A GQ article calls it a fantasy replica but I'm not sure if they really made them from scratch/modified a rep or if there is a rep out there and the fantasy part is just the ticking sound effect they gave it in post production. The production company is selling off the five watches for a pretty hefty sum and can't even guarantee they work or what movement is inside of them. Was wondering if its something I could just get on my own for $80 online without the certificate of authenticity or if its a real deal watch they made just for the movie. Either way, its not a real Patek.
calatrava
I haven't seen a replica Patek which looks like this, but honestly, this looks like a Timex with a redone dial. A dressy Patek with lumed hands is just wrong on so many levels. I think the only Pateks with lumed hands are the Nautilus and Aquanaut.
calatrava
The closest stock replica to this watch is probably this Calatrava:
