Xander123 Posted September 28, 2011 Report Posted September 28, 2011 I'm sure someone else thought of this before me, but I found that applying a thin (1mm) layer of clear silicone RTV sealant on the inside of the clasp tightens the clasp up and acts as a sound deadener, and now my clasp is much quieter. Haven't tried it with end pieces yet. Be sure to degrease the inside of the clasp with acetone or alcohol to insure adhesion.
