superlative
I have: 3717 Fliegerchronograph with gen dial, gen hands, gen crown, gen tube and Swiss 7750 with German day wheel. This one I may send to Avit for DLC treatment. 3253 Mark XV with gen dial, gen hands, gen crown, gen tube and Swiss 2892. I'm using the case from the XV Spitfire since it has the correct lug width (19mm) and caseback engravings. Hopefully I'll assemble these soon. I've had the parts since July! modelizer
That possible DLC 3717 project of yours sounds interesting. It would definitely be a unique watch!
superlative
Here are some pics of the Mark XV 3253 project: Swiss 2892: and genuine for comparison: Still waiting for my "Fish" crown to arrive. That's the crown for the 3717.
superlative
I haven't decided if I'm going to file down that area on the case near the crown as per gen.
superlative
And the 3717 with Swiss 7750: I have a spare lume "marker" for the one missing at 3 o'clock. I haven't glued it on yet. Edited October 31, 2011 by superlative
