vaccum Posted October 25, 2006 Report Share Posted October 25, 2006 This are a few pics I took while servicing an ETA 6497-1 Movement in pieces Dial side balance spring jewel Spring off Jewel assy out Spring ans jewel assy side by side Removed jewel cap..notice how tiny is the jewel compared to the pallet stones I checked to see if it was oiled .....yes it was Then all parts went to the ultrasonic for cleaning and rinse Some reassemble pics Oiling Silicone grease applied to the seals Movement ready to be tested for rate and beat Now fully reassembled and lume shot Thanks for looking, vaccum Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
