txcollector Posted January 10, 2012 Report Posted January 10, 2012 Ah ... so can the dial be modified a lttle bit to accomodate? The ROO Safari uses a chronograph movement (AP Cal 3120 base with a Dubois-Dépraz chrono module). Your movement looks like the Cal 2120 (no date) which is a good movement but won't work on any ROO. 2120 Even if you had found a compatible chrono movement (there are some Hamiltons and Tags that use a similar movement to the AP), you will need a complete set of OEM hands and OEM dial. Those are hard to find and very expensive. So in short, I stand by my original answer, No.
greekgod Posted January 10, 2012 Author Report Posted January 10, 2012 thanks tax, I remember you has said no earlier ..but I did not know about the date wheel etc. Of course I believed you the first time.
