I have a few questions though. 1)What movement am I looking to buy? 2)Will any rep case work? or are there problems with them like with all other rolex models. 3)Where do people get their gen dials? almost all the ones I see on the bay are ladies. superlative Posted January 6, 2012 Report Share Posted January 6, 2012 (edited) 1) 2836 is your best bet. 2) try and find a gen Rolex 160xx model case (like a 16014, 16030 etc...) 3) eBay. There's a few DateJust dials on eBay for $100-ish. All you would need is a movement holder and date-wheel overlay. Hey guys. I want to build a DateJust franken.
