Guest Sql_pl Posted October 29, 2006 Report Posted October 29, 2006 (edited) I am thinking about getting a Lion engraved flip cover PAM 152 for my GF as I think it would kinda suit her... but I am afraid about the quality of the engraving and the cover itself. How does it open and close? Does it feel securely locked when closed? Does it rattle when opened or when closed? Any experiences? Please let me know. Thanks Maciek Edited October 29, 2006 by Sql_pl
Guest TTK Posted November 2, 2006 Report Posted November 2, 2006 @Sql.....I was offered them...and declined.....the 'engraving'.....is not up to the standards of the original...more like 'laser etching' in fact.....and as for the case cover.....I can foresee problems with the hinge ....all in all...not enough 'desirability' factor to 'risk' factor.....JMHO.
Chronus Posted November 2, 2006 Report Posted November 2, 2006 I suspected as much. Thanks for the valuable info, TTK.
JJFlash Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 The replica lion looks like a cartoon character compared to the genuine article. The edge design is totally wrong also. Sign me up for one, but not until a better model than the current offering comes out.
