Gen versus rep deployant quality level?

Has anyone compared the rep IWC deployant for the Big Pilot against the gen? I'm contemplating upgrading my franken BP with the gen if people think it is worth it.

The rep clasp appears to be @ 90% as good as the gen....Why spend the price of another nice rep watch to "fix what ain't broke"..?

I wound up buying the gen...definitely better but the rep is darn close. I scored a decent deal on the gen deployant buckle so no loss as I can always sell it. If you're on the fence, save your money.

Save you money, it's very minimal. i bought then gen and then sold it

because the is too close.. For the difference you can buy another rep..

there are a few on taobao that go for cheap - you can use a taobao agent, I think it's 5% on top - I'm not an expert, would be good to hear some feedback as well
