I wanted to grab an insert and I figure I'd get the whole kit with the spring and bezel too. I'll compare it to my Sean case bezel when it gets here and let you know what it's like!
macjulivert Posted January 30, 2012 Report Posted January 30, 2012 Good morning, I received the Rolex Submariner bezel. Sorry to say that there is nothing like the original bevel and I will return, the teeth of the bevel is not deep as the original.

bruce79 Posted January 31, 2012 Report Posted January 31, 2012 When the gen bezel is polished, it most certainly does pop. My gen 1680 was serviced in 2010 and received a nice polish. The bezel on the 1680 still looks amazing and really glows. However my gen K series 16600 has never been polished. Case is in great shape but the bezel is definitely dull. Not worn, just doesn't pop like it would if it were brand new or had a polish. So I think it has more to do with the condition of the bezel.

fidhle007 Posted February 3, 2012 Report Posted February 3, 2012 Not so fast! I got mine and while the teeth are not as deep as the sean bezel, the finish is fantastic! It's also the proper thickness where the sean bezel is a little too thin meaning you have to grind down your crystal retaining ring or insert. I think it's bang on to an earlier sub, perhaps pre-SEL so in that sense the Sean bezel is better but Ebay does feel much more solid on the watch so I think there are many factors to consider.
