Nice Leather Strap, but thin enough to fit in a deployant buckle?

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Seems most quality leather straps are too thick to squeeze inside the long strap end of the deployant. I certainly had a hard enough time getting the rubber rep strap in there.

There are many great watch strap makers out there but I know Inspire Workshop makes thin luxury bands as well as nice fat Panerai style bands.
