Fellow vintage types,

Having given myself a headache looking on the www, I ask our collective knowledge bank a question.

Namely how close should your bracelet date stamp be to your serial date, keeping in mind that depending on which chart you use can shift the production date a year.

Now you see why my head hurts

My case is 72, I m thinking a 3/4 71 bracelet would be ok but seek assurance and mental counselling.

End links make me cry also, just while we are sharing

I would not worry about it, my gen does not have the original bracelet, neither do a lot of the ones on VRF
