leroythelion
Want to pull the trigger on an explorer II, but really can't decide between the new version or the 40mm polar version... Any thoughts?
asf
I like the old ones better. They fit my wrist better
leroythelion
I like bits from each version... I prefer the 40mm bracelet. But then I am really drawn to the orange hand and lettering on the 42mn. I've considered grabbing the 21j version of the 42mm plus another watch for the price of the 40mm clone. Too much choice, not enough money. Does anyone own the 21j version? Are they happy with it?
asf
I had the 21j of the 42mm. Like I said, the way the case sat in my wrists made it feel like a giant rectangle on my wrist. Haha
DeeKa
The new one looks a little like a plastic "hello kitty" - just not in pink but in orange Dee
TmeShare
No comparison. The 39mm version is way to small. I have the white 42mm from Trusty (the recent version) and have the newly release black 42mm Explorer II on its way. The 42mm version is just the right size and does not feel like a puck on my wrist (see DSSD). Also, both versions of the new 42mm have superlume so they are much more visible at night due to the dial size. TimeShare
correctime
That 39mm version....is that 39mm including the crown or not including it?? The more I see them, the more I'm beginning to like the looks of them.

The more I see them, the more I'm beginning to like the looks of them. Actually the 39 mm version is 40 mm if genuine And this is not including crown... I have the black and white as 2003 and 2004 model, so 1 with lugholes 1 without. Nice watch, but too modern for me, I'm more into the vintage look... leroythelion
That's my dilemma..I know the 40mm is the more accurate version... But I find the 42mm has more presence with orange.
