DW 7032 tube question

Has anyone tried putting a gen crown, namely a 703 (mines from Yuki) on the existing DW 7032 tube? Or willi have to repace the tube as well? Just thought i'd see if anyone has experience with this.

Mine has a gen crown & tube on it, so I can't speak to that particular issue. Do you feel comfortable removing the existing crown and stem yourself? You could do a quick test by removing the existing one and then very carefully try screwing in the gen (without any stem on it) to see how it goes. If it feels like its not catching, I wouldn't try too hard.

Hey Red. Yeah, i could try to fit the crown with existing tube. I just was looking for foresite as to what kind of project i'm in for. One for me or my watrchmaker. Did your gen tube fit well with DW's case?

Ok, the gen crown fits the DW tube. Only issue is the gen crown is a bit shorter and i'll need a new stem. I can handle that. Thanks Red for your pm's/feedback.
