grifter
I'm on here to learn, just like everyone else. I won't get butt hurt or upset for your observations, in fact your eagle eyes are why I'm posting this thread. My progress so far.. Gen 16550 case, crystal, bezel that I've been using as my guide: My rep case from Sead with some work done: So anything I can improve? Case shape at the lugs? CG's? Thanks guys! Mapman57
Looking good M - is it me, or do the Rep case lug chamfers look really pronounced at the front, in the lower half of the lug. Normally you can never find a case with a chamfer, yet this one looks quite wide towards the tip, making the lug tip look thin? Or, is it light playing tricks, as on the Gen the chamfer is not too noticeable at all? That dial is awesome!
