MKIII Bezel

From what I have read, it looks like Rolex started using the MKIII bezel on the 6263 in the early eighties.

Could someone please confirm this or correct me.

How long did they use this version?

The 6263 was produced from about 1972 to 1987 & the last of these would have been fitted with the 3rd series bezels. Beyond that, I have never seen any (reliable) documentation that put dates to 62xx Daytona bezel versions.
