asciwhite Posted April 7, 2012 Report Posted April 7, 2012 I bought a reverse lume dial from the bay to make a homage watch. Well I liked it but I thought what the hell. I like vintage more than I like brand spanking new. So I tossed the dial in the oven. 175c @ 6-7 minutes in my pizza oven.. Behold chocolate goodness.. And the lume still works!! Although a more dark green colour than before. This is how it was. This is now. Lume still strong!!
StormTooper4 Posted April 7, 2012 Report Posted April 7, 2012 That is amazing that you managed to pull that off with the oven trick, cool that the lume still works
asciwhite Posted April 7, 2012 Author Report Posted April 7, 2012 Was watching it all the time, turning darker and darker I was really happy that the result was uniform and great colour... Now I have done it so that others can do the same if they like The Lum-Tec ages niiiiiiiice....
jbetts1790 Posted April 9, 2012 Report Posted April 9, 2012 woah that is cool! i've never seen a brown cali dial before!
