Ephry73
I am in need of a poljot movement to do some test fitting on a monte Carlo case. If anyone wants to trade for a vj7734 that needs service or cash. Thanks guys. E
Lolex_panelai
hi E., will a poljot 3133 work in a monte carlo case / dw, with dw dial etc.? thanks lolex
Ephry73
DW replied to a message asking about that and his reply was that his case could take a 3133. Common/general knowledge has led me to believe that it doesn't. I purchased a sturmanskie for this purpose. Haven't fudged with it as I like the Russian pilot watch as it is and the 7734 movement works well and IS the intended movement. E

Lolex_panelai
E., I would be very glad to hear about the dry run!!! thks lolex
Ephry73
Part of me just wants to sell this one as is, instead of taking it apart. Such a nice watch.
Lolex_panelai
oh, nice! i see! this is difficult. but the movement may end up in another nice watch... perhaps this is a little bit easier for me, as this could be my donor watch... regards lolex
Ephry73
No offense, but that gold poljot deserves to be taken apart. lol I know DW had different case backs for the cases. I recently bought a 7750 DW case missing a bezel and the case back is much deeper(taller) than the other 7750 case I have from him. E
Lolex_panelai
quote ...that gold poljot deserves to be taken apart... unquote this is heartless (joke) no, i will not be sad, if the 3133 from the gold poljot fits into the monte carlo case. seems that the only way is to simply test it. will see if my watchmaker will do me a dry run. regards lolex
Lolex_panelai
hi E., what do you think about this case back? thks lolex
Ephry73
Not sure brother. I say without measuring it it looks like mine. Though my case came with a 700 aftermarket crown. Is it thick? BTW, If anyone is interested, I'm posting the poljot for sale later today. E
Lolex_panelai
you mean looks like your deeper (taller) case, where a 3133 could fit ? sorry don't know which crown it is, just that is does not work / screw down, has a shock and needs to be replaced... thanks lolex
Ephry73
Those movements are bullet proof. Some people mess up the keyless in them. What I meant to say is that the Tudor case I have looks the same was yours. E
