tslims99
Hey, everyone. I am thinking about a two-tone sub. I should have pulled the trigger on the WM9 during the pre-order 2.5 years ago, but didn't (grrrr). I have heard mixed reviews about MBW. Are there any others out there worth the money? Josh has a couple of different options- Noob factory18k plated and non-noob 14k wrapped. Are any of them worth it? Thanks!
woof*
I don't think so, other than those two, the rest don't take gen parts and have either thin plating, or just electro/anodized and won't wear long. The MBW is a little cheaper and easier to get, in fact there were two MBW two tones on RG last week. You could also build a two tone from the TC watch, get a gold WSO bezel, gen insert, crown, a gen dial and a two tone bracelet.
tslims99
I already thought about building one from a TC, but that could get almost as expensive as a gen!!!
woof*
TC say 500$, 300$ dial, 50$ crown, 400$ bezel, 150$ insert etc. I'll bet you could make a killer two tone sub for 1500-2000$. That's lots cheaper than the gen....and let's face it...chicks dig it
