Advice needed on white dialed pams

Recommended Posts

Hi guys I am a pam noob but really want a white dialed pam preferably with seconds at 9, I was shown a franken 113 and I am in love with it, ive aslo seen a franken 003a which looks beautiful.

the reason I ask is Ive heard that a lot of the white rep dials are incorrect and there is no super reps yet. Any advice would be great or if any one has any franken white dialed pams for sale pm me as I am very interested.

Thanks in advance guys

Ry

You are correct there are as of yet no H or N "super" reps of 003 or 113. Though they are not that popular these days , I think the dealers still stock the 113.

Do you know what the "issues are?

If you dont know what the "tells" Are I wouldn't investigate any further and spoil your interest in the watch and just enjoy the watches for what they are , faults and all.

The other option is Davidsen/DSN he might have some 003's and with their closed caseback and better lume , they could be a better bet than the 113.

Lastly DSN white dialled Slytec. the reference 5218-207a . These are rare as , in the really world. But might be the most accurately white faced current rep.

Or there is always 188 chrono

As a noob I would wait a bit before pursuing the very costly franken option

I too love the white dial Pam's but after seeing whats out there I have yet to pull the trigger. The most common problems I have found are the numbers don't look correct (not thick enough) and the "swiss made" on the bottom doesn't seem to ever be right (placed correctly or have the right letter - T or L or no letter at all).

That's what I've noticed :(
