gavinh29 Posted May 15, 2012 Report Posted May 15, 2012 Hi, I am new to collecting and this site and I've just ordered s montbrilliant legende with a black dial from Andrew at trusty, its described as an immaculate replica, can anyone give me any kind of feedback or brief review on this watch. Also I would love to own a navitimer rep but i understand there are many flaws, can anyone recommend someone I can get one from please. Thank you in advance
maxman Posted May 15, 2012 Report Posted May 15, 2012 Im not that familiar with the Montbrilliant Ledgend...but from what I can see it's a pretty nice rep...congratulations. The Nav Indeed has quite a few flaws...probably best to avoid that one. It dosent look like a reasonably accurate rep of the Nav will ever be made. Good luck with your new Montbrilliant. Mike
gavinh29 Posted May 15, 2012 Author Report Posted May 15, 2012 Thanks for the reply mike, I think it looks ok on the site just can't wait for the delivery I will post some pics when it arrives
Dave123 Posted May 16, 2012 Report Posted May 16, 2012 Decent rep buddy, far better than a Nav rep. DW is an issue but i am sure you will be impressed with it overall. Have fun.
gavinh29 Posted May 16, 2012 Author Report Posted May 16, 2012 Thanks again for the replies, sorry if im asking obvious questions but what is a DW issue?
coolmate78 Posted May 16, 2012 Report Posted May 16, 2012 Thanks again for the replies, sorry if im asking obvious questions but what is a DW issue? DW = Date Wheel. I belive he is talking abt sunken date wheel issue. I am so eager to solve this issue but have not found a solution yet. Just cant give up Navitimers.
gavinh29 Posted May 16, 2012 Author Report Posted May 16, 2012 Ah i see, I am hoping there is s decent nav rep released I have a friend with a gen and fell in love. Also slightly off topic i have been looking at watches for sale on this forum and keep coming across the word "bump" and also "catch and release" and to be honest I'm not quiet sure what's meant, can someone translate please
