I'm curious about this..how many of our members here have dials with 'Spider webs' patterns? I understand that this only happens on Transitional models during the 80s when Rolex went from matte to glossy dials.

I read also that it applies to a wide range of their popular models like the Sub 16610, Sea-Dweller 16600 and GMT Master 16750, just to name a few..

if you own such a dial or have a franken or gen with this dial, let's see some pictures..it would be interesting to see how the various patterns are since each dial is as unique as a snowflake..
