problems second hand setting... omega

hi,

last action on my latest project. the center second hand. When I push the hand on the post, the post moves towards inside the movement. there is no

resistance. So the hand never slides onto the post. What the reason for this ? (had this problem before with a 1570, domenico solved it, but I don´t know how)

The movement is a 1002 omega chronometer .

please help !!!

you need to support the pinion from the back of the movement while you push the hand on from the front, you may need a special movement holder or make one

If i am correct there is no jewel behind the second pinion like on a 2824 just the friction spring and this is what you are pressing against
