Sad day for my SA

Ever since I've owned my SA its had a mark on the under side of the crystal that bugged me to no end. It was in a faint square pattern that looked like a sticker was applied to the crystal. Wasn't really that noticeable unless you looked at it sideways with the light reflecting on it. Well I decided to pop off the crystal to try to clean it..first mistake . It now looks like a big square dull spot noticeable at all angles and I can't get the bezel to pop back on.. Dammit, should have left it alone. Now to find someone to fix it..

That sucks. However, might be a good opportunity to pop the crystal out completely and have new AR done. Then get it reassembled. Nothing to lose now

That's actually a good idea This way you will have an improvement over the old crystal and you will feel better about it.
