PAM 029 GMT Numbers

Common issue on most reps with painted / filled indices - same occurs on the Rolex Exp II for example.

You can infill it again with a Sharpie pen, but for a more gen appearance use an acrylic based black satin finish paint. Paint/dab it on and into the number/recess with a cocktail stick , then wipe away any surface excess quickly and smoothly. lay flat to dry. When dry, examine under a loupe and scratch any excess paint away that is around the index perimeter edge with your finger nail. The paint will come off and you will not scratch the steel bezel.

Good luck.

It actually happens on the gens as well. It's not as common because the gens have deeper cuts in the bezels, but a co-worker of mine with a gen 29 has worn away some of the paint in his '6' as well.

(FWIW, he's astounded at the accuracy of the Noob 29M.)

Any chance you could take some side by side pics? There is a lot of noise about the numbers being too green but I have yet to see visual proof.
