imaghost
Hey guys! I recieved my PAM a few days ago and she is an absolute beauty. One thing I noticed though was that my crown guard is wobbling, an issue of which I thought it had disappeared a time ago. It might have happened during shipping(what I don't expect) or it might have been shipped like that. Anyway, I want to get a new crown guard that doesn't wobble. My question is where do I get one? Should I email my dealer? thanks
PeteM
Do you mean the crown guard or the lever? If its the guard itself it could be just a screw issue... if its the lever then again a pretty straight forward fix depending on the issue.. If you want to replace then just search the sales or try a WTB but to be honest I am sure you will find its an easy fix.... perhaps a better description and or pics... imaghost
I'm sorry for being ambiguous, I meant the lever itself. Instead of a little friction while moving it, I can simply tick against it and it will move (almost bounce) very very easily, with no friction at all. I'm not sure if pics will help you out, it's the lever on the crown guard that is moving too freely.
ShorkunOG
I had the same issue, lost screw and Andrew from Trusty Times helped me out and was able to obtain a replacement screws. I thought the watch was a loss but what do you know... thanks Andrew
imaghost
The screws of the crown guard are okay, it's just the lever that's not tight enough and being too loose. I don't think that's a screw issue as the lever is not secured with a screw but with a sort of pin.
imaghost
Decided to email the dealer asking if there was any way I could get a new crown guard. He suggested I tightened the screws of my CG in order to get the lever tighter. I did not see how that worked but I tried and it was of no success. For now it's hoping that he can get his hands on a better CG for me or else I should be very patient and alert in the Sales section. Still hoping on the first option though
