Need repair advice on Noob Pam243.

Greetings everyone! Been a lurker here for a while, but this is my first post, I think.

Got a great looking Pam243 (A7750) that worked well for a couple months, then stopped. I opened it up to find the balance spring had SPRUNG.... Sticking out from the balance wheel module.

I'm looking for advice on whether I should repair, swap movement, or replace it. I live in Northern Louisiana and could ship it to Dallas or Houston for repair if necessary. There is a local independent shop I'd like to take it to who have serviced my Gens before, but don't know if they would touch my rep. and just not sure how to approach it.

Any help or advice is much appreciated!

Just an update: I found G over at the RWI site and am sending it for a full service & repair.
