Anyone successfully repaired The 187G Date Pusher?

I am sorry if this have been posted before.

I was searching around the forums with regards to repairing the Date Pusher crown breaking off, but all I found were photos and owners with the same problem. Nobody have offered a solution yet.

So, I am wondering if anyone have solved the problem? If yes, how?

I tried but fails I once it was drilled and tapped I could refit it but not get enough movement to get it to operate the date change
