bwhitesox
Without having any contacts that can get any Rolex parts I have been scouring the net for ages looking for even a service insert without any luck so need advice on these two inserts I have here. These are the last parts of the jigsaw that include TC's latest case, Gen crown and tube and gen rolex crystal all ready to go up to the zigmeister. Would any one of these inserts be good for a modern TC sub?
woof*
I don't see why not. The pearls are a little dark and have patina, that isn't a problem unless your TC has rehaut engraving. I have a patina pearl in my TC and I bought the version without engraving. If your going for a new out of the box sub you will want a newer insert. bwhitesox
They were sold to me as Luminova inserts...Do you think they could be tritium?
its_urabus
They are flat 4 inserts so could be SL or tritium. I have a SL flat 4 in my Sean build. I personally love it because it's flat.
irolexu
Would the flat 4 be proper to the Sean?
Inertiadrifter
It's weird but a GEN insert doesn't fit the TC Sub!! I would have to sand a little bit to make it fit. Luckily I picked up a Gen bezel. So when it comes I'll put it in and post.
its_urabus
From everything that i have seen (and I have looked, trust me), the flat 4 insert is only factory proper for a case with holes(16610). I have seen a number of pictures of modern cases sans-holes (16610T) that have the flat 4, but usually it is because of a insert swap.
