TC YM vs SA3135 YM comparison

Hi everybody,

today my TC FD YM arrived (last batch) and I managed to make some pics in comparison with my GF's YachtMaster, recently put together thanks to Domi.

So we have:

1 (left). TC YachtMaster with V2 DWO

2 (right). GF's Yachtmaster including:

- SA3135 case, bezel, crystal, bracelet

- TC dial and hands

- ETA Swiss 2824-2 with custom DWO (I can't remember if BK or something else)

Some points:

- Main differencese are bezel and crystal height, other than cg shape and caseset shape.

- SA3135 insert is different in font and in shine (numerals are better refinished and different color)

- SA3135 crystal is very high compared to TC's, but has correct mag (TC's seems to me too much mag).

- Crystal are also different in quality: SA3135 crystal makes TC's dial appear whiter, TC's crystal makes the dial a little darker.

Dials (SA3135 is the one with 24 on the DW, TC is the one with 30 on the DW)

Ok .. I don't read other watch boards so can you be a little more clear ~

"TC" Yachtmaster is a WM9 Yachtmaster .. as far as I know. That's who makes them, and ships them directly to TCs customers, I believe.

So who/what is a SA3135 Yachtmaster??

The SA3135 Yachtmaster is sold from all TDs (first has been Puretime).. Is the one with real clone of the 3135 movement.

The TC YachtMaster is the old WM9 YM sold from the user TC on RG..

They are consideder the high end of the Yachtmaster rep world, together with the Sean cased YM..

SA3135 hasn't 1:1 case costruction, Sean and TC does.

SA3135 insert is also considered the best insert in color and font for YM up to date.

OK so then the NoobFactory YM is what you refer to as the SA3135 ... and the WM9 Yachtmaster is what you refer to as the TC Yachtmaster.

Mmh.. I don't think that SA3135 YM is from Noob...
