Legend
Corruption has always been, and is still rampant among the Chinese officials. They have gotten bold flaunting the ill-conceived wealth via luxury watches, super cars etc. But uncovering corruption in China is a case of "let those without sin cast the first stone" Once you start the witch hunt, many heads will roll, and the hunter may also end up with much more than he bargained more. Johnkaz
I am sure this is one instance when wearing a rep could be a lifesaver.
Legend
I am sure this is one instance when wearing a rep could be a lifesaver. It can still be the same if photographed with a very good rep on the wrist. From the pictures like the one in the attachment, who could tell? milhouse
I know a few people (Chinese and American), who used to work in China. They both said that what we consider "payoffs" are just part and parcel to doing business there. Looks like, times, they are a-changin'. Logan
Half the watches pictured were probably reps. After all domestic China is almost certainly the largest market for the reps we buy. As we're well aware you ever tell from the pictures.
