Hi all , i am looking at the Calibre 16/17 etc in Black. Mary only has day/date which has a silver bezel which i am not keen on.

I have done some research reading and unsure what to go for. Marvellous & Toro dont have anything with a leather strap.

i am not fussed too much on this model but i really like tha ll black and the leather strap!!

IMHO.... Stay away from the leather on Rep watches... The quality is really crappy .... Or get a stap maker to do a proper gator strap for you..

I only order from trusty time; customer service is outstanding shipping is very quick and the watches are always top rate. What I've found is that In this racket you get what you pay for.

While some of the straps are garbage, the Rep crocodile strap that came on my Carrera Calibre 16 DayDate was actually pretty good! I've been wearing the watch for about 3 years now and while it is showing some wear, it still looks and feels great.

Note for Tag Chrono's some of the engraved SS bezels have an issue with the Tachy scale

1 - Calibre 16 with SS bezel is missing the 170, it's just blank in that spot ????

2 - I want to say Calibre 17 with the black bezel, has a '0' in the place of '200' the left off the 2 and the second 0 ????

just something to look out for.
