d4v1d
Hi all, I'd like to buy a TC Sub as soon as possible but I'm a bit confused. There is Type I and a Type II. Both maxi dial but Type II has sanded off rehaut. Why would you want to sand of the rehaut engravement? Cause I see LV Subs with rehaut and without.. Why is that? And as far as I know should the LV Sub have a green insert instead of a black insert... Who can explain me? Thnx Edited December 3, 2012 by d4v1d
jpz5142
The TC type 1 vs type 2 are as I understand it the same watch with the type 2 minus the insert and the type 1 has had the engravings sanded off. They are both meant to be a LV, you just need to supply an insert for the type 2. The type 1 is sold out, and it appears that the type 2 is all that is left. The engravings on the reps are not the best when compared side to side with a gen so some prefer to simply remove the engravings where possible. The LV does exist both with and without engravings so your good to remove if you wanted to. TC is now starting to ship out the LV batches so you can e-mail him to see if you can get a type 2. jpz5142
And yes the "V" in LV designates that it has a green insert.
