Is there anyone who has experience with this? I have found some threads on other forums about Hydrochloric Acid 32% and removing PVD by reversing the electoplating. Anyone who can help me out? edgematic1 Posted February 13, 2013 Author Report Share Posted February 13, 2013 I have no idea which refinishing you need to do with bead blasting, I took some pics of the process and will post them up soon. The problem with the bead blasting is that sharp edges etc can be gone after that process so I opted for a chemical reaction. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
edgematic1 Posted February 13, 2013 Author Report Share Posted February 13, 2013 If you do this process, be warned it's a very dangerous product, you need to use gloves that are acid resistant, use glasses and a chemical mask. Also you need to ask around where to dispose of the acid after the work is done etc. Inform you very well before doing it. Also take a look at the case every 15min. as it can damage the case.
