folex Posted January 1, 2013 Report Share Posted January 1, 2013 Hi guys, ever since my disappointment in a recent purchase with a AP Rep, I'm thinking of getting couple of gen's instead. So I've just been looking around, and I found few mont blanc meisterstuck for about 1k+. I was just wondering, how is the movement with these? I know they are simply just a Valjoux 7750, but I've owned Gen Baume and even Beritlings, and their movement is simply as bad as the rep movements in terms of construction. When I shake the auto movement, I could hear the rotor's moving loud and clear. This is very different to my gen Cartier's and Rolex'es which are very silent.
