Dear Users,

I need you help on my newest wish.

I found all information for the two Franken IWCs I build here and also for my Franken Rolex.

But it seems to be kind of hard for the Tag Heuer.

My favorate watch is this:

post-40027-0-15874800-1358202280_thumb.p

The Ref ID is CV2010.BA0794

I would just change it to a Tag Heuer rubber band.

What Reps are available and how close to they get?

Where and how do I get GEN parts?

Was looking on Ebay for a longer time now.

Thanks!!

What are the flaws with this one compared to GEN?

Can anybody help?

With SWISS movement: http://www.1-pc8838.com/tg10104-carrera-automatic-chronograph-black-swiss-7750-28800b-p-8195.html

I can find anything about this here.

As far as I remember the watch is pretty accurate, not sure if the stock dealers sell now is the same watch sold years ago though.

Inaccuracies:

- slightly too thick white subdial circles

- greyish wording on the dial (nor really white)

- bezel numbers (I am not sure actually)

Nice watch overall, too bad it doesn't come with AR coating, the crystal reflects A LOT but the genuine has the same drawback

hope it helps

Thanks for the details!

I invested some more time in research in other forums.

Your list is 100% correct. The bezel numbers seem to be corrected.

Further more the movement has blue screws and the GEN silver. But I might swap a GEN movement.

Also regarding the AR coating: I would just mod this.

BUT these flaws are to much in my opinion:

  • Way to thick subdial circles / Every guy with a GEN could spot these
  • The wordings on the dial are not bright enough / They look grey / some times it is not bold where it should be

What do you guys say.

I think it is to much off and also you cant source a GEN dial. At least I cant...

Thanks

try a rep of the cv2014. I think you will find it is more accurate. And, personally, i think the black looks better on the rubber strap.

Btw authentic watches is having a sale on the ba0794...$399 us shipped.

Really i like the feel of the BA0794..

Btw jist fitting a gen eta 7750 into a joshua case now, i will tell you how it goes. Also looking at gen crown and chrono pushes which are available...

The cv2014 is really nice! Like it too.

It has less flaws?

The BA0794 is an awesome price for sure. But I want it on the rubber strap. Found it there too for 280 Dollar.

Do you have more details on putting the GEN ETA in the REP case? What else has to be done so that it is closer to GEN.

Where do you get the GEN crown and pushers?

THANKS A LOT!!!
