After having already luckily acquired an U1 hour glass edition and an U2 Solebox edition, which have outstanding quality look and feel, I am tempted to get an U1000 chrono PVD with A7750 28.800 bph mvmt. Asked a dealer, but he really emphasized to steer clear from this one, due to massive manufactoring tolerances with the so called BP factory who's supposed to build this rep. I.e. you could end up with a brilliant rep watch OR with a piece of crap. Dealer does not want to be troubled with this and wants to save me from it too. But I think I remember the U1000 was hyped as one of the super reps out of the box at the time?! Does anyone have recently bought an U1000 PVD? Or any inside knowlegde? Thankalot in advance!
