He has always been intersted in my watches and asked If I could get him one. I said you have a great watch on your wrist already, he had a Grand Carrera white on. He said he had gotten it from his wife for christmas and he did not really know anything about it. I showed him the list price for it online and his face went red!! I think he got a bit mad at his wife because he is the earner in the family and he would never buy such a expensive gen himself *LOL* Anyways, he wants a rep Submariner ultra supreme modern rep so he can have a watch that he wont be so afraid of scrathing and stuff... You shouldn't have told him that said. And yes, buying a rep is a good idea if you don't want to arm your gens. I'm wearing my Noob Gmt these days as I'm doing some works in the house...at least the dust doesn't penetrate my gen sub PS: I don't see a JLC listed in your list "My reps" in your sig...
