ftt Posted February 1, 2013 Report Posted February 1, 2013 I have a PAM360 (H v2) I got from Andrew 1 month ago. The 3rd week I had the watch were 2 instances where the watch was stopped when I woke up and I had to give it a shake for it to start back up. This morning the watch stopped while on my wrist and winding it a couple clicks started it back up, but 5 minutes later it was stopped again (was fully wound). Does this sound like a simple issue like it needs servicing for lubrication or is it likely that I need a new movement? I'm also not sure what to expect in regards to buying from an AD and whether or not to expect them to help. The first 2-3 weeks I had it the watch kept time really well. Thanks.
Rolexman Posted February 1, 2013 Report Posted February 1, 2013 Could be anything. You could take it to your local repair shop (non-branded). Where are you located in the world? If western Europe send me a PM maybe I can help you. If you are over on the island of GB you should talk to MD2020.
ftt Posted February 1, 2013 Author Report Posted February 1, 2013 I'm in the US, I sent an email to SpeedyGWatch to see if he can take a look. Thanks for the input, I'll post what I find out.
kevshed Posted February 2, 2013 Report Posted February 2, 2013 I had a similar issue on a 111.... Turned out to be a loose screw on the ratchet wheel... So I agree, just whip of the back and do a quick check before sending anywhere
mini167 Posted February 24, 2013 Report Posted February 24, 2013 i had a similar problem on my 243, wear it over 10hours later, then weak up on the morning, the watch stopped , suspect the auto winding may have trouble , buy manual winging is very good . so i sent it to my TD to fix this.
