The type of contact clasp where you press it in and it clicks  has worn out to the point it no longer stays together.

Is there a way to fix this without purchasing a new clasp?  Is there a way to prevent this?  It's happened with a few replicas now, do genuine watches not have this issue?

Thanks for the help

It's a modern Rolex Milgauss replica, but I guess my question is in general for the type of clasp that doesn't have a release on it.  It seems to be these types of clasps are all doomed to eventually wear out.
