It stutters and ticks (instead of sweeps) but only between the 2 and 6 hour markers, the rest of the sweep is fine. Now would you say that the watch just needs servicing/oiling? Thanks!

Some movements may do that. ETAs usually don't. Myotas and other asian movements do so. I don't know why. I have an invicta with a myota auto. Its been doing this for a while. Yet, it was regulated by invicta and it keeps perfect time. Andres
RWG Technical Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 Probably neither... Turn the watch upside down, and I bet the stutter is now between 8 and 12... If it has a Miyota or copy Asian movement, it's normal... RG
james21oo Posted November 21, 2006 Author Report Posted November 21, 2006 Replace with an eta sounds the way to go then. The watch keeps perfect time, it's more of an annoyance than anything. Funny thing is before this I had a cheap £25 rep from ebid and that sweeps without issues!
