MK08 Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 Hey all, I'm absolutely in love with my 1st rep purchase a Pam 177-h from EL. Now that I've been bitten by the Panni bug I'm contemplating my 2nd purchase I like some feedback in making my final descision. I'm debating between the 2500m diver from Eddie Lee and the Slytech from Trusty does anyone own one or both of these? Which is the better looking, more accurate ect. Thanks in advance. MK08
fitmic Posted November 22, 2006 Report Posted November 22, 2006 Go for the Arktos instead, for making the choise isear!

Watchmeister Posted November 22, 2006 Report Posted November 22, 2006 If you are talking about the Slytech chrono bear in mind it is very big at 47mm and the gen is made out of titanium not SS as the rep is. Everything else is fairly good and you don't have to worry about the wrong date font or cyclops - there isn't any. On the face of it the 243 (2500) is 44mm and is made out of SS as it should be. The original version had a proper looking and functioning He valve but (IMHO) a really crappy 12 click bezel and mineral glass. Eddie's version has sapphire with AR coat. The mystery is whether it has a new and better 60 click bezel. The original version had a different He valve and pretty crappy 12 click bezel. You should ask first. Eddie's version has an He valve but it is engraved and the gen He valve has no writing at all. Pick your poison.
2005SUBMARINER Posted November 22, 2006 Report Posted November 22, 2006 i agree that will be my 2nd pam
Finepics Posted November 22, 2006 Report Posted November 22, 2006 Better rush out and get it as it does have He on the valve - just found this pic on TZ of a gen. In fact this could end up being another almost perfect ready to wear rep!!!
MK08 Posted November 22, 2006 Author Report Posted November 22, 2006 Thanks for the feedback guys I'm sorta leaning toward the EL 2500M. One more question how the reliability of the Asaian 7750B1 that the 2500 uses?
