New guy here from the Washington, DC area excited about all the great information I've found here already. 

 

Been a big fan of great watches for a long time;got my first Rolex Day/Date in college, Yactmaster after college, Omega SMP when my first son was born.  I am now interested in getting a few replica pieces that are great in quality but not over-priced like the genuine articles.  I may also be interested in some mods eventually.

 

Right now I'd love to start off with getting a good rep of the vintage James Bond "Goldfinger" watch. I've done a lot of research already regarding thr model, details, correct NATO strap, etc and I'm about to make a purchase.  Will probably consult the board to be sure I make all the right decision, just in case.
