fraggle42
Hi all, I received my new Carrera 16 DLC from Joshua yesterday. Absolutely lovely watch, good weight, good strap, dial is great. The only thing I have noticed is that the crystal is slightly milky, as if the air trapped in there is foggy / smokey. Now, assuming the person who put the back on the watch at the end of the "production line" wasn't having a crafty ciggy at the time, I'm guessing it's the AR that's not all that good. Has anyone come across this before? Is it the AR? If it is I'll send if off to get properly double ARd and the movement serviced, as it's definitely a keeper
watchman12345
Is it just at certain angles?
fraggle42
I think so, yes. Looking at it right now in overcast daylight, it seems fine, but other times in different light, cloudy. I've looked at the gen and those are lovely and crystal clear to the extent you think they're not even there. (and the other 15 or so rep/gen watches I have are not as cloudy as this one is)
