Need advice on these GMTII's

I am about to pull the trigger on a GMT II from Trusty. (Really been impressed by his e-mail communication!)

Looking at this Ultimate for $128

Can any of you experts chime in and let me know what you think about these two watches. It appears as if they are the same watch, just different movements.

Are there any obvious differences between these and the gen that the average person could see.

These both come with a metal bezel insert. Do the gens have metal bezel inserts?

Have you looked at the BK version? It's a much nicer version for relatively a little more money.

Your links are not working. Please copy the entire link if you want folks to give you help. IF these are GMT II's and not GMT IIC's they will have the two color (Pepsi= Red Blue or Coke = Red Black) Bezel inserts. The GMT IIC's (C=Ceramic) has the ceramic bezel insert.

Looked at the BK and didn't see a Red/Black GMTII.

You're right. I was thinking IIC. <br /><br />If you find an old bk transformer in the sales thread it's a great piece. Very hard to come by.

I saw a very nice BK transformer for sale on Repgeek today. It comes with 3 complete bezels and all three inserts,Pepsi,Coke and black.It's not cheap, but the buyer could sell the two extra bezel/inserts and get part of his money back.
