Need some help....newbie

Hi guys need some help. I am new to the panarai world and need some advice on what to stay away from. I would like a franken panarai so if you guys know anyone who builds them please let me know.

 

I would love to get a pam 172 but i dont know if the rep dealers carry them. Any thoughts?

The 172s that are being created aren't all that great. Sure some are better than others, but for the most part it's considered a "medium grade" rep. More than a few 'tells' to a trained eye.

I wouldn't start with buying for my first watch a Franken Panerai, at first i would start with buying some PAM's from a TD or via M2M sales to see if you like them before spending the big bucks on a Franken PAM. In M2M sales you can find some nice builds from members, search for the one's with a FGD dial, there are currently some really goodlooking reps on sale.

And i would reccomend to read the guide in the previous post, it is a must for Panerai fans.
