Jkay
I did this same exact thing on a watch that I have. Where can I get it re-AR'ed? Where are you in the World? I know Vac's Mod Shop applies AR. I had my 500m done there. He's in the USA.
JR003
Synthetic plush cloths (microfiber) used for automotive detailing will pull all the oil off your watch without harming it in any way at all. You shouldn't have to use cleaners for any bit of it. This and a bit of steam by breathing on the crystal is indeed the only method that I use to clean my crystals. indywatchguy
Cape cod polishing cloth will remove the smudges and AR coating if you rub a bit. Check out PBDAD he has a great source for AR.

fraggle42
Fine grit sandpaper removes smudges and any AR.It does add huge scratches and a lovely frosted effect to the crystal, but you can't have everything!(This Is a JOKE by the way! )
